Vic retired from the FBI after serving 25-years. He served most of his career with the FBI investigating and supervising complex fraud and corruption matters. He also played leadership roles in both the Enron and WorldCom investigations. These and other corporate fraud investigations necessitated the creation of the FBI’s Corporate Fraud Response Team in which Vic served as a member. 

During his career with the FBI, Vic supervised a financial institution fraud squad, a public corruption squad, and a health care fraud squad. He also managed the FBI’s forfeiture program in the Houston and Atlanta field divisions. Whiles serving as the Chief Division Counsel of the Atlanta Division, he provided advice and counsel to executive management and investigative personnel regarding national security matters, criminal investigations, cyber issues, employment law, civil litigation, and asset forfeiture. 

Now in private practice, Vic has served as both a court appointed receiver and bankruptcy examiner. These and other experiences required Vic to investigate complex fraud allegations and make written reports and provide oral briefings to interested parties including the court. Vic helps clients with the investigation and litigation support involving financial fraud incidents.

Vic is an adjunct professor at Georgia State University where he teaches a master’s-level forensic accounting course. He is also the author of the book, The Honest Truth About Fraud. Vic wrote this book for an audience that includes corporate managers and forensic practitioners responsible for the prevention, detection, and investigation of fraud. He also uses the book in the classroom and workshops where he speaks.
